Croftlands Junior School Ulverston

Sex Education

The Governors of this school believe that Sex Education should be taught in school and it is part of our curriculum, where it is taught as part of the overall Personal, Social and Health Education curriculum. Teaching staff deliver the lessons following an approved and published programme. Any questions regarding Sex Education that the children ask will be answered honestly and with understanding. As a parent you will be notified in advance of these lessons and you do have the right to withdraw your child from them if you so wish. Parents are welcome to request a copy of our Sex & Relationships policy or to come in to school to view the materials used.
