Croftlands School

To support learning, the children are given homework on a regular basis in all years. Generally there is spelling, written English and Maths homework each week, in addition to the general reading homework.

Most homework is of a limited amount and we welcome parental support with school work. As reading is essential to everything we do in school, an active interest by parents, either by listening to their child read, or reading aloud to them every night, can make a huge difference. We expect children to take their reading books home every day.
